The Courage to Change Award
The Courage to Change Award is presented annually by Serenity Place to a person or persons whose courage has made a difference. The Award is presented in recognition of the example and contributions that have been made to the good of self and to the good of others. The Award stands as a testimony to the involvement, perseverance, and concerns that its recipients have had for the problems of addiction and the possibilities of recovery. It is a recognition of the integrity and contributions of those who have given of themselves and have made a positive difference in the lives of others. It is in recognition of the generosity of spirit and the willingness to be of service to others that the Courage to Change Award is presented each year.
