Serenity Place provides the following services and programs:
The Crisis Site offers help 24 hours a day, 7 days per week by providing detoxification and substance abuse education, HIV testing, and counseling by a caring and trained staff. Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics
Anonymous information and support are
available.
The Sobriety Maintenance Center offers those suffering from alcohol and drug
dependency care, support, counseling, education and referrals to other services that are available to serve the unique needs of each individual. SMC is a 24 hour, 7 day a week residential
program for those who may be uninsured,
indigent, or homeless.
The Resource for Evaluating Alcohol Problems (REAP) is a state mandated, court ordered program. It offers counseling and
education to those convicted of driving
under the influence or driving while impaired (DUI, DWI). REAP offers instruction and
preventative programs that deal with drug and alcohol abuse. REAP also provides educational programs for young drivers and guidance for those who complete the program. Its goal is to prevent the loss of life and injury caused by alcohol or drug impaired motor vehicle
operators.
